Ray Calderon
Founder
A lifelong Chicagoan from a blue-collar family that values hard work, integrity, and respect. Ray is passionate about acquiring and growing service-based businesses to create opportunities for employees, deliver value to customers, improve the community it serves, and preserve owners' legacies.
With over 15 years in sales, strategy, and operations at startups and Fortune 500s, Ray most recently served as VP of Sales Strategy at Reddy Ice, managing $155M in revenue. He holds an MBA in Finance & Strategy from Northwestern’s Kellogg School and a B.S. from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Prior to his MBA, Ray served in various roles in management consulting, tech, and private equity.
As a self-funded searcher, Ray plans to be a hands-on owner-operator, not an absentee investor, to build on existing foundations and elevate businesses.His diverse experience, network, and acumen equip him to acquire and grow businesses, identifying growth levers and operational efficiencies.
